UFC 282 saw Jan Blachowicz face Magomed Ankaleav for the vacant UFC Light Heavyweight championship at T-Mobile Arena. However, at the end of the night, no one was crowned as Champion due to a lackluster bout.

At the post-event press conference, Dana White expressed his disappointment with the main event. White revealed he was bored of watching the fight. Answering the press he said, “What are you gonna do? I think the main event was terrible…started to zone out after like f*cking three rounds. I heard that Ankalaev is upset and whatever. What do you want me to do? You got beat up the first two rounds, and you took him to the ground, you started – what are you gonna do?“

In the end, the main event ended in controversial circumstances with both fighters gaining some upper hand in a few rounds making it difficult to make a decision. However, Dana White confirmed that the vacant title will be crowned at UFC 283 in the fight between Glover Teixeira and Jamahal hill.

Paddy Pimblett made his most awaited return to the Octagon. The English man was looking to continue his successful winning streak. As for his opponent, Jared Gordon came into the fight with a 4-1 record over his last 5 fights.

The clash between them is to be dominated by Jared Gordon for around two rounds. However, Paddy Pimblett made a comeback in the third round which was crucial for his win. In the end, Paddy Pimblett made it through as the winner via Unanimous Decision. However, many fight fansc did feel that Paddy didn’t win the fight.

In the post-event press conference, Dana White shared his views on the match. He believed Jared to have bad gameplay in the third round. Dana said, “Jared Gordon had a terrible game plan against Paddy Pimblett. He shouldn’t have coasted through the third round thinking he was up on the scorecards.”

Paddy Pimblett has delivered on his hype and continues to rise as the next big thing. On the 27 years is on a 6-match winning streak and will be moving on to better things in his career.
