Dana White puts “PPV Turd” Jake Paul on blast during UFC Long Island press conference
Jake Paul- Dana White
Dana White couldn’t be bothered by what YouTube sensation Jake Paul said about him or his company. The UFC President took a dig at Paul during the UFC Long Island press conference when he was asked about the YouTuber.
Dana White and Jake Paul have been going at each other for quite some time now. The beef between the two started when the Paul brother went on to target UFC and its boss for underpaying MMA fighters. White has been constantly pestered with questions regarding Jake despite the boss saying he has nothing to do with him.
Though Dana claims he is unbothered by the YouTube boxer, he sure has gone on several rants about Jake on many occasions. Recently Jake passed some comments about Dana and on his return to press conferences, White was asked about his reaction to Jake’s comments. White was tired that he still had to answer questions about Paul after having shut down reporters several times when asked questions about Paul and his beef. Once again at UFC Long Island post-fight press conference, Dana had to reiterate that he couldn’t care less about what the YouTube boxer was up to.
Jake Paul in the UFC is the “last thing” Dana White is thinking about
Dana has been absent from the last few events. The UFC President was out on vacation and returned to work at UFC Long Island. In the post-fight press conference of UFC Fight Night: Ortega vs Rodriguez, White was asked about Jake and this is what he had to say: “I mean, is still something? Is this still a thing? To me, it isn’t. I couldn’t care less, he is a pay-per-view turd.”
White then was asked about the possibility of Jake in the octagon. Jake has offered himself to fight a superstar from the UFC inside the octagon. As much as Dana hates the Paul brother, he still doesn’t rule out the possibility of having Paul inside the UFC octagon. “I would never say never but that’s the last f***ing thing on earth I’m thinking about,” said White in the press conference.
Jake is now scheduled to fight Hasim Rahman Jr at a SHOWTIME PPV event. The UFC President once again questions Paul’s choice of opponent. Dana questions why Jake didn’t go after Tommy Morrison, who recently knocked out Rahman Jr in his previous fight. Dana implies that Paul once again chooses to not go after the tough fights.
