“He mistreats women”- Dana White refuses to care for severe allegations made by ex-employee Dan Hardy claiming the president “staged” events

White responded to Hardy's criticisms
A few days after Dan Hardy accused UFC President Dana White of only pretending to care about his fighters for the cameras, the boss man now has his response. Hardy, and ex Employee of the UFC, alleged that during one of his final appearances for the company, White allegedly staged an interaction between himself and Hunter Campbell, asking for Calvin Kattar to be taken straight to hospice after his 5-round fight against Max Holloway.
Kattar, was suffering a brutal, one-sided beatdown at the hands of Holloway during the UFC’s first-ever slot n the ABC network. During the fifth round, a behind-the-scenes documentary showed that at a point Campbell and White were discussing sending Kattar straight to the hospital without having to fulfill any of his media obligations. Hardy alleged that the entire sequence was staged, citing the fact that White was mic’d up to record
At the UFC 280 Post-fight Press conference White would mount his response to these allegations. “I don’t understand the question, he said we did what?”, asked White as he sounded confused about the nature of the allegation. When he finally grasped the entirety of Hardy’s allegations, White responded by saying, “Well I don’t even know what the means, but I’ll tell you what, we’ve never staged anything, ever. We had a documentary that we filmed, during COVID and that’s why I was mic’d”
White then explained that his asking for a fighter to go directly to the hospital is not new and in fact is a conversation he has to have with Campbell several times a week. Talking directly about Hardy, white said, “You don’t need to worry about me staging anything, and I definitely don’t give a f*** what Dan Hardy thinks, you know. Hardy was a guy that was mistreating a woman who worked here and that’s why he was fired,” as he accused Hardy of simply being bitter
Why was Dan Hardy Fired by Dana White?
Dan Hardy was let go from the UFC in early 2021. This happened due to an alleged verbal argument that Hardy had with a fellow employee of the UFC. While white has suggested the female employee was being mistreated, Hardy has maintained his innocence.
Hardy said on Instagram, shortly after he was fired, that argument was, “not aggressive and specific to work” He has managed to retain his spot at the BT Sports team.
Hardy was also a former title challenger in the welterweight division, having a memorable match against Georges St Pierre at UFC 111.
