UFC CEO Dana White loves betting big at casinos. Even Joe Rogan has talked about his extravagant gambling habit. However, he recently revealed the story of how he lost $3 million at blackjack. Here is what happened:

Dana White recently sat down with Lex Fridman on his podcast. There he revealed the story of how he lost $3 million in one night. Dana White said: 

So, we’re having some drinks at dinner and blah blah blah. It starts to ramp up, we’re having a good time, and I make my way down to the high-limit room. We start gambling. And I continue to drink, having a blast. I end up leaving and going home that night, and I lost like ($80,000).

White detailed how he was sorely mistaken about his losses. The next morning Dana White woke up and thought he lost $80,000 the other night. However, he went back to work which is when the host from the hotel called him. He asked if White was coming back and still needed the room that he and his friends occupied.

Dana White replied that he did not need the room but told the host not to get too comfortable with his $80,000 and that he was coming back for it. White recalled that there was dead silence on the other end of the phone for a while. The host then told a shocked White that he had lost $3 million the other night.

The UFC CEO could not believe what he heard and told the host that he had only a million-and-a-half-dollar credit line. The host replied that White had supposedly made them call the GM of the hotel and started calling him a “f****ng p*ssy”. White told Friedman that it sounded like something he would do.

Dana White went from being a bellhop at the Boston Harbor Hotel to the CEO of a company with a valuation in the billions. White likes to gamble, and with the millions that he made with the success of the UFC, he has reportedly made a ginormous amount of profit.

He is a high-stakes gambler and often plays blackjack. Reportedly, White is so good that he has won over $12 million dollars playing Blackjack at Caesars Casino. Owing to this, White has famously been blackballed from gambling at some of the biggest casinos in Las Vegas.

White once sat down with Taylor Lewan at the ‘Bussin With the Boys’ podcast where he talked about owning a casino. The UFC CEO revealed that although he would like to own one, the gambling industry is an extremely tough industry to get into because of how strictly regulated the entire system is by the government.
