Dana White has good relations with the YouTubers

UFC president Dana White has known to be on good terms with the NELK BOYS, a famous YouTube channel covering fight content, amongst other things.

In a recent move by the National Hockey League (NHL), the league insisted that they wanted nothing to do with the Youtubers. This piece of information was discussed with Dana White by the NELK boys, and a video of the discussion has been posted on social media, including White’s response to such a move.

The UFC president ‘trashed’ the NHL for their poor marketing strategy and their decision to dissociate with Youtubers. He goes on to state that the NHL conference finals only did around 25 million video views in total, while he states: “Power Slap did 90 million!”. He further explains that this is due to the fact that the NHL, much like old journalists, do not understand how to reach out to the younger generations. They need to increase viewership with social media stars like the NELKBOYS themselves.

Dana White concludes the video by stating that if the NHL doesn’t want the NELKBOYS, he’s got them covered. This could mean a potential increase in viewership for the UFC in the near future.
