“I have NOTHING to do with him” – Dana White slams the media and puts an END to Jake Paul-related questions
Dana White and Jake Paul
Dana White has had enough of Jake Paul questions! The UFC President pulled his last straw and urged the MMA media to stop asking questions about the YouTube boxer.
One can’t deny the fact that Jake Paul is the absolute king of content and has had a very successful career in gaining attention from people. The YouTuber has transcended different areas of entertainment and now has the entire MMA community on chokehold ever since his fight against the former UFC fighter, Bellator MMA champion, Ben Askren. Not only has Jake rattled the MMA audience with his disrespect towards several veterans of the sport but has also managed to get on the very passionate, UFC boss Dana White.
Jake somehow finds a way to milk the best out of mixed martial arts, and mainly the UFC. The fighter is once again in the MMA headlines after reports suggest the YouTuber is fighting UFC legend Anderson Silva in his next fight. UFC boss Dana couldn’t care less about Jake and has finally asked the media to stop asking Jake-related questions to him. Dana is already pissed about the number of times he gets mentioned by the YouTube fighter and on top of that the UFC boss gets asked about Jake’s activities in almost every media scrum he attends. Jake is almost inevitable at this point in Dana’s life.
Dana White “won’t talk about” Jake Paul anymore
At the post-fight press conference of this week’s Contender Series, Dana talked to the media and was open to any questions as always. Though White has never refrained from answering questions from the reporters, Dana has reached the limit to how many more “Jake Paul” questions he can take during the pressers.
“Stop asking me about Jake Paul, guys. I don’t give a sh*t what Jake Paul does. I know you love this sh*t and it gives you clicks, but come on!” said White talking to the media earlier. “The guy has nothing to do with my business. He doesn’t fight for me, he’s not even in the same f**king sport as me. I don’t want to talk about him anymore. It’s…I don’t care,” added Dana in the presser.
Dana and Jake have taken turns insulting each other on social media and in interviews. The YouTube boxer has called out Dana and his company for their poor treatment of fighters and has got on the nerves of the UFC boss. After already fighting Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley (twice) from the UFC, Paul has now set his eyes on the former middleweight champion, Anderson Silva. Would be interesting to know what Dana thinks about that.
