UFC CEO Dana White recently made a disclosure that sent shockwaves through the mixed martial arts community. He hinted at the potential of another big “super fight” in the works. This news follows an unsuccessful attempt to set up a much-anticipated fight between tech giants Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg at the ancient Rome Colosseum.

However, specifics are yet unknown. This is what he had to say:

There is…We're talking about one right now, actually, that just popped up a few days ago. So, I can't talk about it.

Dana White scoffs at Logan Paul vs. Dillon Danis PPV buys

UFC CEO Dana White voiced skepticism and outright astonishment over the reported pay-per-view (PPV) buys for Logan Paul vs. Dillon Danis’ influencer boxing event. The event featured KSI vs. Tommy Fury and claimed 1.3 million PPV purchases, which White regarded as overstated.

White remarked on the Full Send Podcast that the reported numbers were suspect. He implied that promoters and TV partners would enthusiastically pursue partnerships if influencer boxing cards were indeed that successful. He emphasized the financial consequences, adding that if an event had 700,000 PPV purchases, promoters would be more likely to schedule bouts throughout the year.

White emphasized the difficulties of getting such massive buy rates, emphasizing the rarity of hitting the 1.3 million milestones. He claimed that if an event with influencers with minimal combat experience attracted such large crowds, it would transform the landscape of PPV events.
