Dana White weighs in on Conor McGregor vs Floyd Mayweather rematch

Dana White reacts to the rumours of a MAY-MAC 2. Meanwhile, it is noticed McGregor often engages in boxing workouts. He was seen leaving Dublin’s Straight Blast Gym on Thursday, so it appears that his MMA training has resumed. He worked out at his own gym and posed for pictures with several of his coworkers while sporting red UFC combat shorts.

John Kavanagh, the owner of SBG Ireland and the first MMA fighter to compete in the cage, is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt in Ireland. All of them, including Artem Lobov, a brawler in the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship, James Gallager, a 22-year-old featherweight in Bellator MMA, and Conor McGregor, a former two-weight UFC champion, call it home and have achieved great success in their own right from that gym. Here is a video of his training produced by THE MAC LIFE

According to a source, the two competitors have already agreed on personal terms, but they have not yet agreed on the number of rounds, with former UFC champion McGregor requesting 10.

The bout is scheduled to take place at 155 pounds, thus McGregor would have to significantly reduce his weight. The Irish fighter is thought to have put on weight, reaching an estimated 190 pounds, since he was able to walk again after breaking his leg in the loss to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July of last year. According to reports, Mayweather has offered McGregor $157.9 million (£131.5 million) for the rematch and is ready to risk his perfect professional record.

The UFC president even went a step further and said that McGregor and Mayweather would need to be experiencing “dementia” for him to schedule a rematch. If a rematch takes place, it won’t be an exhibition since McGregor wants the fight to appear on both Mayweather and his professional records. He stated, “Total bull****”. Those guys are just talking on social media like they do.”
