The 36-year-old welterweight MMA fighter had recently parted ways with Bellator in the summer of 2023 and became a free agent. This had made him a prime prospect for the PFL who are currently signing all the high-quality potential fighters they can lay their hands on.
However, UFC CEO Dana White secured the deal on Michael Page. Dana revealed at the UFC 296 post-fight press conference that Page will face Kevin Holland in 2024, making his UFC debut at UFC 299.
