Daniel Cormier cheats
Daniel Cormier wins the hot dog eating competition only to get caught for cheating. After retiring from MMA fighting, Cormier has become a full time UFC presenter, commentator and takes part in several other media projects in the company. DC is an extremely fun and lovable individual with great knowledge of the sport. This makes him one very entertaining to listen to.
DC recently got inducted into the UFC 2022 Hall of Fame panel along with his friend, Khabib Nurmagomedov. It was an amazing moment in DC’s career and a well deserved recognition of the corner Olympian.
Daniel Cormier takes his chances to win the hot dog eating challenge
The UFC YouTube channel streamed the UFC 276: Live weigh in show where the fighter made the weight and face of each other for the last time before going into the octagon.
Generally after the weigh-ins, the UFC streams a segment for the fans in which reporters, UFC athletes and fighting experts sit down and have a conversation about the event. This time at UFC 276 show, Daniel Cormier and Dustin Poirier were the special guests.
At the end of the segment, everybody on the panel took on a hotdog eating challenge. The aim was to eat two hotdogs as soon as possible to win the belt. While everyone went on to eat the hotdogs as fast as possible, Cormier took the charge and finished both the hotdogs first.
After finishing the challenge, DC revealed that he is done and needs the winning belt. Others refused to believe DC and accused him of cheating. DC confirmed that there is no evidence and demanded the belt. He said :
“Yeah, look I ate it. Let’s go, gimmie my belt it’s over. Hey I won. There’s no video of me cheating, check my pockets. Give me my belt. “
However, moments later it was found that DC had hid some part of the bread under the table and clearly cheated in the challenge. The moment was hilarious and everyone was laughing at DC’s antics. It seems like DC failed to get his hands on the belt but that’s okay, he is already a UFC double world champion and possibly one of best to ever do it.
