It was heartbreaking for “The Black Beast” to see him lose his most recent two games at home. He had recently completed one of his best runs. But when he returned home, Cyril Gane (2021) was waiting for him, and the latter simply had too much class, ending the fight with a TKO in the third round. He recovered with a classic knockout victory over Chris Daukaus, but he recently suffered another humiliating defeat at the hands of Tai Tuivasa’s elbow in February.
In his professional career, Sergei Pavlovich has only experienced one humiliation. That happened when Alistair Overeem made his UFC debut.
