Despite ugly fallout with Dana White’s company, Francis Ngannou graciously offers to save UFC 295 heavyweight fight by taking on Stipe Miocic
Francis Ngannou's impressive performance against Tyson Fury shifts opinions, prompting a subtle dig at Dana White on social media. UFC 295's changes, including an interim heavyweight championship, impact the event's dynamics.

Francis Ngannou almost defeated the lineal heavyweight boxing champion in Riyadh. Ngannou knocked down Tyson Fury in the third round of their bout but lost via controversial split decision. With his performance, Ngannou changed the perspective of many, including Dana White, who believed that the “Predator” leaving the UFC was a wrong move.
Now, Ngannou took it to X, formerly Twitter, to take a subtle jab at Dana White. Recently, the UFC had its UFC 295 between Jon Jones and Stipe Miocic scrapped as Jones suffered an injury and required surgery and rest. The co-main event between Jiri Prochazka and Alex Pereira was elevated to the main event. Subtly jabbing the UFC and White, Ngannou tweeted on X. This is what Ngannou tweeted:
I've been calling out Jones but I can take Stipe for the same occasion while waiting on JJ to get back.Francis Ngannou via X.
It needs to be noted that Miocic and Ngannou are 1-1 in the UFC. With Ngannou outperforming expectations against Fury, many have turned the tables around Dana White. At first, many agreed with White that Ngannou fumbled the bag. But now, with even the WBC chairman promising to put Ngannou in the WBC rankings, the future looks bright for the Cameroonian.
UFC 295 was touted to be one of the best PPVs of 2023. However, the loss of Jon Jones at the event was a big blow. Nevertheless, the UFC scheduled an interim heavyweight championship between Tom Aspinall and Sergei Pavlovich. This was made to soften the blow of losing Jones. It was later revealed that Miocic was not asked about fighting for an interim title. Miocics said it on his OnlyFans.
MMA Lawyer/Judge wants Francis Ngannou to call out the UFC to create a co-promotional fight with Jon Jones
Erik Magraken is an Injury Lawyer, Combat Sports Regulatory Lawyer, and Co-Owner of Inspire Sports Victoria. Moreover, he is also a licensed judge in professional boxing, kickboxing, and MMA in Canada. In the aftermath of the Fury vs. Ngannou fight, Magraken had an interesting suggestion for a potential bout between Jon Jones and Francis Ngannou.
Magraken took it to X, formerly Twitter, to suggest about it to Ngannou. This is what he posted on X, tagging Ngannou.
@francis_ngannou should start calling out the ufc for his next fight. Saying “I will take on anybody you got for the MMA lineal championship.” PFL will co promote. Throw the ‘he’s scared’ narrative right back in Dana’s face.Erik Magraken via X.
Ngannou’s plan is presumed to be in MMA next. From the words of his MMA head coach, Eric Nicksick, it was evident that MMA is the priority of “The Predator.” However, with the allure of the money from the Middle East, it remains to be seen what the Cameroonian’s plans might change.
