“I have bigger sh*t to do” Nate Diaz asks the UFC to release him while hinting at a Jake Paul fight

Nate Diaz seems to be on his last legs on the matter of being patient with the UFC. Now he has clearly hinted that he wants to be let go so as to fight Jake Paul in a boxing match. While Jake is targeted to fight this August it is unclear if Nate has a final opponent booked in the UFC.

Since his 5-round blood bath against Leon Edwards where he had a momentous final-minute flurry, Nate has been on the sidelines with his stock as high as ever. This was a conscious move from the UFC as the Stockton native has only one fight left in his contract and refuses to re-sign with the UFC.

Since July of last year, Nate has been frequently calling out fighters and the UFC to have him booked for final fight or asking to be completely released from his contract. The UFC seems keen on making the trilogy bout between Nate and Conor the final bout on Nate’s contract but due to the uncertainty surrounding McGregor’s recovery timeline, Nate has stated he has no interest in fighting the Irishman.

He has expressed interest in fighting former Interim Champ, Dustin Poirier, a bout that both have verbally agreed to but one the UFC seems disinterested in. This led to a 3-day epic rant against the company on Twitter by Nate, where he ended up urinating on the UFC performance center.

Now the star has vent out his frustrations on the platform again and has also posted a clear hint as to where he taking his talents. He said, “Ufc release now please or give me fight with anyone in July or august “ asking to be released or at least offered a final fight. Nate who has trained in boxing all his life alongside world champions like Andre Ward then made clear that he was aiming for a money fight with Jake Paul saying, “I have bigger sh*t to do” attaching a video of Paul knocking out former champion Tyron Woodley to go along with it.

While Jake and Nate have both expressed an interest in fighting each other, Dana has made it clear that the UFC won’t be doing any cross-promotion with the younger Paul. Do you think Nate will be released by the UFC while Jake Paul is still undefeated? Let us know below.
