Las Vegas attracted many celebrities from around the world on the occasion of Super Bowl LVIII. As such, Stockton Native Nate Diaz also made his visit to the city. Also, this weekend presented entertaining events from Dana White’s UFC and Powerslap. As such, Diaz met the American TV star, Dr. Phil McGraw, presumably during Power Slap 6 at the Durango Casino and Resorts.
In the viral clip, former UFC fighter Nate Diaz and American TV personality Dr. Phil McGraw shared a wholesome moment. At first, the two posed for a picture together with a fan and conversed briefly. As such, Nate Diaz reminisced about a moment from Dr. Phil’s TV show and stated he liked the way he said it. They shared a good laugh about it. Here is what he said:

The instance Nate Diaz mentioned was from 2017 when Dr. Phil McGraw interviewed Danielle Bregol, known as ‘Cash Me Outside Girl.’ During a particular segment, Bregol called the audience ‘ho*s,’ and McGraw, perplexed by what he heard, confirmed her statement. As such, Nate Diaz quoted Dr. Phil’s line and rejoiced the moment with the host himself.
Nate Diaz last fought in the UFC in 2022 and went on to fight Jake Paul in a lucrative boxing bout. However, he couldn’t come out as a victor as he lost the bout on the judges’ scorecards. Now, what’s next for the Stockton native was unknown. But, strong sources suggested he was set to fight Jorge Masvidal in a boxing match.
Is Nate Diaz going to take on Jorge Masvidal in March 2024?
Nate Diaz, looking upon the money that prevailed in the boxing world, parted ways from the UFC to box. As such, he fought YouTuber turned-boxer Jake Paul in a ten-round bout. However, Paul won the fight via unanimous decision. Diaz wasn’t much bothered as he made a lumpsum amount for the fight.
Now, amidst Jorge Masvidal coming out of retirement, a potential rematch between him and Diaz became the talk of the town. Now, reports suggested the matchup was confirmed but in the squared circle.
In a tweet posted by ‘Happy Punch’ on X, it was reported that a boxing match was booked between Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal. Also, they confirmed the fight was to happen in March 2024, and the UFC had no obligations with it. Earlier, popular journalist Ariel Helwani also mentioned this fight was in the works. Also, Jake Paul hinted at this matchup through a tweet, which he deleted moments later.
Nate Diaz faced Jorge Masvidal in MMA at UFC 244. The bout also featured the inaugural of the BMF title. As such, Masvidal won the title after a doctor’s stoppage victory over Diaz. Ever since, there were talks of a rematch but it never came to fruition in the UFC. Now, it appeared to happen inside the boxing ring soon. However, no official news has come out regarding their fight.
