Nate Diaz is finally parting ways with the Ultimate Fighting Championship and what a way to end his amazing career in the UFC! The Stockton superstar gets a fantastic win against Tony Ferguson to end his UFC career and several UFC aces react to the legend’s final fight.

There will never be another Nate Diaz. The Stockton Superstar ends his time in the UFC with an iconic submission victory against Tony Ferguson at UFC 279 main event fight. This pay-per-view event had Nate’s written all over it. From the backstage brawl to an impromptu matchup against Ferguson, to an iconic guillotine choke win.

Nate was initially booked to fight Khamzat Chimaev in the final fight of his UFC career which many called a “hitjob” from the UFC to send Nate on a low after all the troubles he has given the promotion. However, Khamzat’s weigh-in mishap ended up being the best-case scenario for Nate where he got to fight another legend in Tony Ferguson.

Nate looked incredible in the fight against Ferguson and got the better of “El Cucuy” in all striking exchanges. The fight had classic ‘Nate’ moments and the crowd was entertained with the signature “Stockton Slap” too. Nate came out of the fight unscathed which turned out to be a true shocker.

With only two minutes remaining in the fourth round, Nate choked out his opponent for one last time in the UFC octagon and did it in style. A nonchalant flex of his muscle as he choked out Ferguson with one arm is exactly why the fans love the Stockton Superstar.

The entire T-Mobile Arena was in awe of Nate’s fantastic win at UFC 279 and were all on their feet to hail the Diaz brother on his final fight. Nate will forever be a fan favorite and have the biggest “die-hard” fanbase of all fighters to ever fight inside the octagon. The Stockton Superstar signed out with an amazing win and several past rivals and aces of the sport congratulated Nate on a fantastic career.
