Dustin Poirier recently won his UFC 299 bout against Benoit Saint-Denis. He knocked out the Frenchman in the second round. The Louisiana native made it clear that his long-standing rivalry with Conor McGregor was far from over. This was despite the Irishman’s recent congratulatory post for his victory. 

Poirier was asked if his rivalry with Conor McGregor was over. He answered that the beef between them would never end. ‘The Diamond’ even expressed his openness to a potential fourth fight. This is what he said:

Dustin Poirier did not rule out the possibility of a fourth showdown with his Irish rival. This move could potentially rekindle the flames of their feud. This prospect was that of a lucrative payday. Plus, the chance to settle the score once and for all might remain too tempting for both fighters to resist. The PPV market for this fight could have an enormous result if the UFC decided to make it happen.

The feud between the two UFC stars had one of the most intense and bitter rivalries in recent memory. A combination of personal animosity and high-stakes competition fueled it.
