UFC Europe-bound as the promotion eyes massive events in Paris later this year

In the previous month, UFC held a massive event in the city of London. Massive fighters like Paddy Pimblet, Tom Aspinall, and Alexander Volkov. It generated a decent amount of views on the television and overall the hype was very real all over the social media and amongst the MMA fans. Now seeing the kind of attention it gets from events outside of the United States UFC might be looking to arrange more events in the continent of Europe.

BREAKING: It seems that UFC is investing big in Europe as I'm hearing an event in Paris, France is slated for later this year, on September 3.

According to the MMA journalist, Al Zullino UFC might be Paris-bound in the near future. Many celebrated UFC fighters come out of France like the latest heavyweight title contender Cyril Gane, Charles Jourdain, and the heavyweight champion of the world Francis Ngannou. If true this could be massive news for the French MMA fans. If the UFC holds its future events in the fashion capital of the world remains to be seen.

UFC president wants Jon Jones to take on Stipe Miocic

In an interview given to TMZ Sports Dana White admitted he would want former UFC Light Heavyweight champion Jon Jones to take on Stipe Miocic in the summer. Jon Jones last defeated Dominick Reyes in a five-round battle in the February of 2020 whereas Stipe Miocic lost to Francis Ngannou in March of last year.

Jon Jones is considered one of the greatest fighters of all time by many fans and critics. Many have been talking about his return to the octagon in the near future. Jon Jones has only lost one fight in his career and that was through disqualification. Stipe is also one of the best all-around fighters when it comes to boxing and wrestling.

It will be a treat for the UFC fans to watch them scrap in the heavyweight division. It will be Jon’s first fight in the heavyweight division. Stipe is not an easy opponent for anyone in the organization. He held the heavyweight belt for a long time defeating Daniel Cormier on multiple occasions and even defeating current champion Francis Ngannou in January of 2018.
