Fight fans have expressed disappointment after Kai Kara-France broke the news on X, formerly Twitter. “Falls further into the mud”, One fan posted on Twitter. The pay-per-view event is already thin with only the main event middleweight fight having a noteworthy significance. Kai Kara-France was looking to rebound after his consecutive defeats but a concussion suffered during the week has put that plan on hold. Kape, the former Rizin bantamweight champion is on a three-fight win streak.

Kara-France in his last bout against Amir Albazi lost a very close decision in a fight many thought he comfortably won. Before that, he lost to Brandon Moreno for the interim flyweight title. Kape after losing his debut and subsequent bout with the promotion is now on a three-fight win streak. Losing Kara-France is a big blow for the fight card. Tai Tuivasa vs Alexander Volkov in the co-main event is the only other noteworthy fight in the event.
