Looks like some are not fond of Deiveson Figueiredo’s battle of business with the UFC and Manel Kape is one of them. Figueiredo, the current UFC flyweight champion is currently in riff with his promotion because of low pay. Besides this reason, Figueiredo has also cited many reasons such as an injury and also noticing racist behaviour from his rival and former champion Brandon Moreno. Figueriedo last fought at UFC 270 where he won a split decision against Moreno in their trilogy.

The fourth fight is bound to happen sooner or later, but with Deiveson Figueiredo not finding his way with the UFC based on his pay, he has gone to such an extent to even threatening of leaving the division. As of now, there will be an interim-title fight at UFC 277 in July, 2022 between UFC flyweights Moreno and Kiwi mixed martial artist Kai Kara France. Figueiredo is even upset with the interim-title status to that fight.
