Recently, a video surfaced where UFC lightweight fighter Jalin Turner was training with Khamzat Chimaev in Dubai. The size difference between Turner and Chimaev shocked the fight fans. Turner fights in the lightweight division, whereas Chimaev fights in the welterweight division. However, Turner appeared to be bigger than Chimaev in a recent photo.
Khamzat Chimaev is known for his weight fluctuations between 170 pounds and 185 pounds. Chimaev has issues with weight, and the UFC asked him to move up a division after missing weight at UFC 279. Borz was supposed to face Nate Diaz but missed weight and fought Kevin Holland at the PPV.
Chimaev has not fought since defeating Holland last year. There were rumors of Chmaev fighting Paulo Costa in Abu Dhabi. However, that bout will not materialize after the UFC booked Costa for a bout at UFC 291. Chimaev might face Kamaru Usman in Abu Dhabi this year. On the other hand, Jalin Turner is coming off a loss against Mateusz Gamrot via a split decision.
Both teammates chose to spar with each other as video of the camp surfaced. Both can be seen practicing their moves in the cage, and Chimaev also showed a takedown attempt. However, Jalin did not shy away from defending the takedown. The size difference between both fighters became the major talking point in the MMA community.

MMA Mania uploaded the video on their Twitter account, where fans left interesting comments. A fan wrote, “how tf he make 155,” questioning how Turner got into the 155 weight class. One of the fans said, “Weight bully team up,” remarking on both fighters’ extraordinary weight fluctuations.
Fight fans have always been active, especially for the next update on Borz’s next fight. Right now, Jalin Turner’s plan is to face a tough challenge against Dan Hooker at UFC 290. =Chimaev will likely face Usman in the Abu Dhabi PPV card later this year.
