Two of UFC’s biggest fighters have joined hands with Logan Paul to become the first athletes sponsored by his hydration company. Israel Adesanya and Alexander Volkanovski were recently revealed to be the first athletes sponsored by Prime. While many fans are ecstatic with the news at hand, some have an issue with Paul for not signing UFC welterweight fighter Joaquin Buckley.

Prime Hydration is one of the fastest-growing beverage and energy drink companies on the market. Formed by Youtube sensations Logan Paul and KSI, the brand quickly rose to fame among the masses. The beverage company quickly generated over $250 million in sales in the first couple of months and manages to remain sold out even today. Prime also made an entry into the world of MMA by signing a deal with the UFC and becoming the official sports drink of the organisation.

While Prime had entered a deal with UFC, it had no sponsored athletes under its belt. Welterweight fighter Joaquin Buckley was the first person to call out Logan Paul and ask for a sponsorship. However, Paul ditched the rising talent and placed his bets on the already-established champions Israel Adesanya and Alexander Volkanovski. Prime recently released the announcement video on Twitter, which features Logan Paul and KSI talking about Adesanya and Volkanovski. Ironically, the video also features a clip from Joaquin Buckley, asking Prime to sponsor a UFC athlete.

Many are happy with the news of signing Israel Adesanya and Alexander Volkanovski. However, fans are still unhappy about Logan Paul snubbing Joaquin Buckley instead of making him a top priority. Fans take to Twitter to post their reactions to sponsorship news.

Ever since its launch Prime Hydration has quickly taken over the beverage and energy drink market. They have also entered a deal with UFC to become its official sports drink. After that, the Body Armor logo in the octagon was replaced with Prime and the blue and red corners were also renamed to be Prime Hydration zones. Although Prime had this lucrative deal with UFC, it did not sponsor any athletes from the organization.

So, for the next step, Logan Paul revealed Israel Adesanya and Alexander Volkanovski were the first Prime-sponsored UFC athletes. While many fans were ecstatic about the news, some fans had a problem with Paul. Paul snubbed Joaquin Buckley who was the only athlete to call out and ask for a sponsorship from Prime. Despite that, Logan went with Israel Adesanya and Alexander Volkanosvki, who he was recently seen training with.

Fans took to Twitter and called out Logan Paul for ditching Joaquin Buckley. While Buckley was not the first athlete to be sponsored by Prime, there are chances that he will be signed later on. The sponsorship deal from Prime opens a new avenue for UFC fighters to get some extra income on the side.
