Only if Henry Cejudo and his team did a quick google search, they’d know that pictures of the fighter holding a Mexican flag are still up on the internet. “Triple C” gets called out by MMA fans for lying on stage about his ethnicity.

Recently, Henry Cejudo, the former bantamweight and flyweight champion of the UFC was seen talking to an audience about the American flag. During his speech, the fighter boldly claimed that he has never held a Mexican flag despite being of that race.

Little did Triple C know he was going to get exposed for his lie as fans dig up several pictures of him with the Mexican flag from his fighting days. The fighter is seen carrying the Mexican flag along with his UFC belts during UFC photoshoots. The fighter can also be seen in an Azteca Gladiator outfit during one of his fight walkouts.

‘My message today guys as Latino-American, first and foremost, I am American. I was born in this country, I was raised in this country, and you guys will never see me, as much as I love my culture, you guys will never see me with a Mexican flag. Because this country [America] has given me so much,” said Triple C in his speech.

Cejudo was invited as a guest to an event “Friday Night Fight Night with Kari lake“. MMA fans absolutely blasted the fighter for making false claims and many wondered why the “King of Cringe” had to resort to dissing his Mexican heritage.
