Conor McGregor vs Michael Chandler is one of the most anticipated matchups of 2023. The Irishman is yet to make his comeback after the devastating leg injury and Michael Chandler will be his opponent.

It isn’t clear what weight class the two fighters will compete in. Conor has moved through multiple weight classes over the years. He has fought in the featherweight, lightweight, and welterweight divisions multiple times. Meanwhile, Chandler has pretty much fought in the lightweight division after a brief stint in the welterweight division. But Conor Mcgregor is a long-time associate of the UFC and the star. But Chandler is a newbie in the promotion, recently contracted by UFC in 2021. Before that, he had fought in the promotion during the days of ‘Strikeforce.’

This means that Conor has a huge influence on the decision of his fights. And that is what he says to Michael Chandler when they face off in ESPN’s The Ultimate Fighter: 31. McGregor bullies Chandler telling him they’ll fight at 185 lbs which is the middleweight division. Chandler accepts the challenge saying, “You wanna do 185, I’ll do 185.” Mcgregor shoots back, “You’ll do as you’re told…”

Both Chandler and McGregor are posed as coaches in this season of ‘TUF.’ They are reportedly scheduled to fight later this year as ‘The Notorious’ makes his comeback to the UFC.

Twitter has reacted to the released clippings of the TUF 31. Conor McGregor has already made his presence known, pushing Chandler during their face-off and ridiculing him whenever he gets the chance.

The rivalry is going to be intense. Conor has already been in a tiff with the USADA regarding reenlisting in the testing pool. The two have yet to announce their official fight date but it is predicted to be at the latter half of 2023.
