It must be disheartening when the boss forgets your name. Dana White and Mike Tyson could not recall Henry Cejudo as the duo sat down in their recent podcast. Aljamain Sterling and his next fight at UFC 292 came up in the discussion. To this, boxing legend, Mike Tyson reminisced the last fighter to have fought the Bantamweight Champion. “Didn’t he fight… who did Sterling just fight, great fighter…”, Mike said.

Surprisingly, UFC President Dana White could not seem to remember as well. Dana seemed to struggle to remember Henry Cejudo’s name. ” Yeah he just beat uh… who the f*ck did he just beat… now we gotta Google now…,” Dana said.

Bur White did remember that his champ won the fight. “No no, Sterling won. Aljamain Sterling won…” which is when Mike Tyson remembered the name, but not quite. “Henry Oruda, he fought Henry right…,” Mike said. Tyson and Cejudo had previously worked together. Cejudo had trained under the boxing legend in 2022 and he had also co-hosted Mike’s podcast. “F*ckin Muke knows better than me!” Dana White exclaimed.

While some excused the forgetfulness to old age, others pointed out Dana White’s negligence to his fighters other than the champion. It should be noted that as of January 2023, there were more than 465 male fighters in the UFC.

White also oversees the Power Slap which adds even more contenders to remember. Henry Cejudo is a former UFC Flyweight Champion and Bantamweight Champion. He is also the only person to win an Olympic gold medal as a wrestler and a UFC title. He is considered to be one of the best on the UFC roster because of his accomplishments in MMA and freestyle wrestling.
