Israel Adesanya accidentally revealed his gameplan against Alex Pereira but it has not sat well with the fight fans as they have take to Twitter to troll Adesanya.

Former champion Israel Adesanya is hell-bent on finally defeating rival Alex Pereira in a fight. They will fight at UFC 287 after previously having two kickboxing matches and an MMA match. Adesanya looks locked in for their second MMA match, and during the press meeting, Adesanya let details about his gameplan slip.

Adesanya said, “I don’t let him get any breath, I take him out. I will put him on his ba.. You know, we’ll find out.” Adesanya did not complete the word when he said he intended to put Pereira on his back. It may have revealed the game plan of Adesanya for his title rematch. The gameplan of grappling remains effective, as Adesanya found much success against Pereira in their first MMA bout.

Alex Pereira is undefeated in the UFC and will look to be 5-0 in the UFC with a victory over The Last Stylebender. He is training with legends Glover Texeira and Chuck Liddell, who could help him with grappling. Texeira is a grappling legend who could help Pereira with his takedown defence and ground game.

Israel Adesanya has been working on his Wrestling and Jiu-Jitsu since transitioning into MMA. He was winning the fight at UFC 281 with firm control over Pereira, landing better shots and good wrestling but could not get the job done as Pereira got a stoppage victory with three minutes remaining. This time, however, Adesanya appears to have a strategy to finally defeat his long-time rival.

Alex “Poatan” Pereira will fight Israel Adesanya in the main event of UFC 287, and the bout will be the second time both fighters will face each other in MMA. However, after losing four times to the scary Brazilian, Adesanya plans to avenge his losses finally. It remains to be seen if Adesanya will implement a Wrestling approach in their MMA rematch to conquer his “Kryptonite”. Pereira struggled against wrestling techniques the last time, and Adesanya may need to utilise a wrestling strategy to win the rematch.
