UFC middleweight fighter and wrestling phenom Bo Nickal is one of the most favorable prospects in the division. The 27-year-old is set to open the highly stacked main card of UFC 290. He was the betting favorite since the start but after the change in his opponent, Nickal is set to close as the biggest betting favorite in UFC history. However, a few fans believe betting against the odds might be prosperous for them.
Middleweight fighter and highly lauded prospect Bo Nickal was set to go head-to-head against Treason Gore at UFC 290. Sadly, days before the international fight week, Gore pulled out of the fight due to an injury. This left Nickal without an opponent almost forcing him out of the card. However, UFC found a backup fighter for the wrestling phenom and saved the bout from being scrapped.
Bo will be fighting Combat Night Pro Middleweight Champion Val Woodburn who is also an undefeated fighter. Val or ” The Animal” boasts a clean record of 7 wins and 0 losses. He was set to appear in ‘Dana White’s Contender Series‘ this year. It appears The Animal would have to make the most of this short-notice opportunity as he looks forward to his UFC debut.
After the news of the matchup, many are ready to bet big on the wrestling phenom. However, some fight fans are ready to risk it all and bet on the underdog. Many believe Nickal does not qualify to be the biggest betting favorite and are ready to take their chances against him.

“Woodburn is gonna shock the world. Bo isn’t -2500 against anyone tbh,” tweeted a fan. “Betting against the nickel seems prosperous,” posted another netizen.
