Former welterweight champion Kamaru Usman has not fought since his title bout at UFC 286. Usman went to London to recapture the title he lost to Leon Edwards. Since then, Kamaru Usman reiterated his desire to continue fighting despite having an illustrious career. However, fans were shocked to see Usman at Shaquille O’Neale’s Big Chicken store. Yes, you heard it right, Kamaru Usman worked in the Big Chicken store.

The shocking aspect remains the fact that the former champion worked as a worker at the outlet. Kamaru Usman has a close relationship with the former NBA superstar. Shaq invested somewhere near a million to 1.4 million in the store. Despite the friendly nature of their relationship, fans on the internet had a field day reacting to it. They made fun of Usman, stating that Edwards managed to convince “The Nigerian Nightmare” of a career change.

Kamaru Usman had a dominant run in the UFC until the second fight with Leon Edwards. He had an undefeated record in the UFC and almost broke the all-time record of Anderson Silva. He had a 15-fight winning streak heading into the bout against Edwards. Despite having a dominant performance, the British fighter managed to get a knockout victory in the final round.

Since then, Usman has indicated his desire to fight once again for the title. He wanted to fight Khamzat Chimaev to get back into title contention. Chimaev and Usman want to fight each other and may end up on the UFC Abu Dhabi PPV card. However, at the moment, Usman seems to have fun at Shaquille O’Neal’s Chicken Store.
