Jalin Turner was a short-notice replacement at UFC Austin. However, that did not stop him from a quick KO victory over Bobby Green. Dana White was all praise for Turner in the post-fight press conference. Moreover, many fighters applauded the performance of Turner on short notice. However, Renato Moicano‘s comments on X after Turner’s victory angered Turner.

Turner went off on Moicano in his post-fight press conference. This is what Turner said when he heard of the callout of Moicano.

That fool has been calling everybody out. All he does is call out anybody who wins. It's annoying, bro. Stop doing that. I don't know why these fighters keep doing that. Like, stop. It's corny, bro. It's corny. You're not Conor McGregor. Stop trying to have everybody's name in your mouth. It's weird.

Turner’s response to Moicano was very angry. He did not like Moicano calling out fighters like he was Conor McGregor. McGregor used his brash, outspoken callouts to surge through the UFC. That was a novel approach when McGregor did it. However, the approach did not work for fighters who tried to copy it. Turner felt that Moicano was that type of fighter.

Renato Moicano has not fought since UFC 281 when he submitted Brad Riddell via rear naked choke. A year has passed since his victory. This was the reason why Turner was upset with Moicano. He felt that Moicano only did callouts and did not fight. Moreover, Turner also talked about the controversial stoppage of his fight.
