“F*ck Khabib, Karen of MMA” Fight fans blast Khabib Nurmagomedov for making an ABSURD claim about Charles Oliveira

Khabib Nurmagomedov usually makes it to the top 5 of everyone’s MMA/UFC GOAT rankings. While his ranking in that specific tier may go up or down, his place in it is almost sacrosanct.
Khabib Nurmagomedov has had one of, if not the most illustrious careers in MMA. He retired at 29-0, all while completely dominating and mauling his opponents to get to the mark. In an argument made in his favour, the Dagestani native has never been cut or been leaking from his face during a fight.
The only time Khabib lost a round was in his 2018 title fight against Conor McGregor, albeit, that too not very convincingly. Khabib went on to secure the finish, ending McGregor’s air of invisibility.
Ever since his retirement, his protégé, Islam Makhachev has emerged as the next Dagestani in line to inherit the lightweight throne. With a fighting style quite similar to Khabib, Makhachev is thought of as being the next lightweight hegemon.
Fans lambast “overrated” Khabib in his bid to put down Charles Oliveira
Recently, on Islam Makhachev’s behalf, Khabib Nurmagomedov has been trash-talking his protégé’s next opponent, Charles Oliveira. While the title is vacant, much of the MMA fanbase believes it belongs to Charles Oliveira, who has beaten Michael Chandler, Dustin Poirier and Justin Gaethje as champion.
It is unusual to see Nurmagomedov engaging in such behaviour, as the fighter usually keeps his head above the water. In his tweet, he said, “I just think Charles Oliveira will not show up in Abu Dhabi and the UFC will replace Charles with Beneil Dariush. Regardless of who the opponent will be, Makhachev is on his way to becoming the best in the world. Regardless of who the opponent will be, @MAKHACHEVMMA is on his way to becoming the best in the world #ufc280”

This hasn’t sat well with MMA fans, who have taken to voicing their opinion of his bullying antics in the comments section of his own post. Some of the memorable comments read, “F*ck Khabib, Karen of MMA.”, “Tired of seeing him tweet tbh. Most overrated fighter ever.”, and “Don’t do this Khabib”
Another comment that was interesting, read, “Ali?” What this user is talking about is the fact that it is extremely unusual for the now-retired fighter to use such an inflammatory tone. Instead, people have speculated it is actually Ali Abdelaziz, who is known for his antics – regularly getting under people’s skin and using a tone that can entice anyone to get heated.
Whether it is Khabib or not, one thing is for sure heading into this much-anticipated bout – Charles Oliveira will come to fight, and wrestle any hype away from rival Islam Makhachev.
