UFC contender, Cody Durden might be in trouble for what he just did on social media. Durden recently released a video about Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler‘s much-anticipated fight date and as expected, it is going viral on social media. Here is what happened:

Cody Durden posted a video on X where he talked about his upcoming fight this June. What was interesting was that he mentioned he was fighting in the undercard of the much-awaited Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler fight. Durden said: 

What’s up fight fans? I’m back in the Octagon June 29 versus Carlos Hernandez. UFC 303. Michael Chandler versus ‘The Notorious’ Conor McGregor. Let’s go, baby!

Fans were shocked by this sudden reveal by Durden. However, he insisted that he did not leak any information. Rather, he simply repeated what McGregor had been saying for a long while now. Conor McGregor had been looking to book a fight for his UFC return since last December. However, it seemed like the UFC did not want to put him on just yet. Dana White cited McGregor’s busy schedule because of his Hollywood debut and also his substantial net worth as a hindrance.

He had recently announced that the UFC would get in touch with McGregor and figure out a fight date with him after the promotional tours of his new movie Road House are over. It is interesting to see that Durden decided to specifically mention this sensational piece of news in his video before Dana White or any of the UFC officials.
