Jack Della Maddalena and Michael Bisping
Jack Della Maddalena fought Danny Roberts at UFC Vegas 65 and put forward a sensational performance. The fighter dominated the fight with his boxing and finally won the fight via TKO in the first round. It was Maddalena’s 13th professional win in a row and his future in UFC is looking great.
After the fight, the Aussie gave an interview with UFC legend Michael Bisping inside the octagon. Bisping gave credit to Maddalena’s striking eyesight. He said: “It seemed like you were seeing everything in slow motion and you couldn’t miss with the punches.”
Maddalena explained how he used his eyes efficiently and talked about the importance of them to Bisping. The fighter then instantly realized that Bisping damaged his left eye while fighting and both laughed it out.
“Yeah, just use my eyes you know, it’s the important part of our game is the eye….. Bless you,” said Maddalena. Michael replied, “You need them.” It was a hilarious moment yet both had so much mutual respect. Eyesight is definitely one of the most important factors that help MMA fighters to win fights, however for Bisping it didn’t really matter.
