Max Holloway takes to social media to support Hawaii after the recent wildfire incident. The people of Hawaii have received assistance from UFC President Dana White. The state’s Maui island was the scene of the worst wildfire in its history, which has so far, according to reports, taken 80 lives. Worldwide support has begun to come in, and the biggest MMA organization in the world, the Ultimate Fighting Championship, has offered the state $1 million in aid for the relief and reconstruction efforts.

Dana White announced the gift made by UFC on his social media accounts. He added that the limited-edition “UFC Loves Hawaii” t-shirt would be available. The entire net revenue from the sale of these t-shirts will be used to rebuild Hawaii.

Max Holloway went to Twitter to share his opinion and write: “Governor Josh Green, If you truly want to help Lahaina Ohana…make a proclamation Now making it illegal for any and all developers to displace any families affected by the fires and do not allow any big companies to come and build resorts and more unaffordable housing.”

Holloway warned the governor not to allow all the big companies to come and build infrastructure; instead, the locals should be provided with support to rebuild the Island.

According to Hawaii’s governor, Josh Green, the fire damaged at least 2,200 buildings. Approximately 86% of such buildings were residences.

It’s an impossible day. It will certainly be the worst natural disaster that Hawaii has ever faced,” said Green after assessing the situation.
