Former UFC light heavyweight champion fails to distinguish between North and South Korean in a heated debate

Former UFC light heavyweight champion Tito Ortiz was invited to the ‘The Leo and Danny Show’ where the he had conversations on several interesting topics. During a discussion, Ortiz spoke about the safety and freedom structure in the United States. Ortiz was comparing the difference in terms of individual freedom in the US and other countries.
The former UFC light heavyweight champion revealed that he has been to every country in the world. But, he feels the best when he comes back to the US. Ortiz explained that people have no idea how things are in other countries. He gave examples of countries such as Cuba, and China where citizens live without a sense of freedom.
“I have been everywhere and every time I came back home, I was very very safe cause I’m back in the United States. The freedoms we have here, people don’t understand how other countries are. Cuba, China.” said Ortiz in the podcast.
While giving more examples of such countries, the UFC star mentioned South Korea and North Korea but got confused between the two of them. Although he tried his best and corrected himself, the whole situation was confusing. He said :
“urr South Korea or is it North Korea? Which one? I think it’s North Korea. “

The clip of the former UFC champion being confused went viral on Twitter. Consequently, fans started trolling the fighter.
One user mentioned that geography is tough for Ortiz and mocked him for his remarks.
“Geography is hard bro give this patriotic American a rest ?.”
Another user gave a political and interesting response by questioning why Ortiz is visiting communist countries.
“Why is Tito going to all these communist countries? Seems sus.”
A fan hilariously made fun of Ortiz’s thoughts about South Korea by saying he might just have seen the famous Netflix show, Squid Games recently.
“Somebody recently watched the documentary Squid Game.”
Another Twitter user brutally trolled the whole podcast panel including Tito by calling them ‘retards’ who are making ‘easy money’.
“This gives me hope, even retards can make money on podcasts”.
