“Couldn’t wait to answer that question,” Francis Ngannou ‘DROP BOMBS’ when asked about earning credibility from Dana White and Co.
The feud between Ex-UFC star, Francis Ngannou and former boss Dana White is seemingly far from over.

What goes around comes around; even if you are the promotional top honch for UFC, Dana White. His “I don’t give a sh*t what he thinks” about Ariel Helwani (MMAFighting on SBN fame) is a famed affair. Their enmity is understandable, given that the top Journo and White overtly hate and sneer at each other. White touting the line in an unforgiving rant on Triller executives went viral as well. But why is Ex-UFC heavyweight, Francis Ngannou saying it back to White?
The answer would be simple. The ‘Predator’ had to seek an out of failed negotiations on the rehashing of his new contract. In a sitdown with Club Shay Shay podcast with Shannon Sharpe, he had said the same. Francis Ngannou is now a new signing at PFL, the rival promotion to that of Dana White and Co. Here’s what Ngannou had to say about it all to Radio Rahim of SecondsOutLive:
[On being credited by Dana White on his success after leaving UFC]...I don’t give a sh*t about what Dana White thinks.Francis Ngannou durign an interview with SecondsOutLive
Currently, the ex-UFC heavyweight faces Anthony Joshua in the ‘Knockout Chaos’ headliner in Riyadh. The 10-round heavyweight clash PPV event on DAZN promises to be quite the affair. PFL CEO, Peter Murray trusts his mettle so much that he even predicted the French-Cameroonian winning. Even the likes of promoter, Eddie Hearn and other peers remain in awe of the fighter.
This comes in light of Ngannou’s super-athleticism against boxing’s lineal heavyweight, Tyson Fury. Ngannou faced the Brit in the opening ceremony of Riyadh Boxing Season in 2023, whom he was inch-close to knocking out. While everyone is in awe of his mettle, he isn’t willing to waste a sweat on what White thinks of him anymore.
Fight fans react to Francis Ngannou quoting Dana White on himself
Francis Ngannou and UFC CEO, Dana White have been at odds ever since the heavyweight’s exit from the promotion. White hasn’t taken well to the French-Cameroonian’s gibes at him and the UFC for not honoring his contractual terms and forcing him out. Since then, Ngannou has joined up with rival promotion PFL as an interesting new prospect. Yet to make a debut, he has also shifted to pro boxing ventures.
Dana White remains the last person to step foot into the ever-growing Ngannou hype train. However, while he didn’t see Francis Ngannou vs. Tyson Fury, he mentioned on Donald Trump Jr.’s Triggered video podcast that he remains in awe of his power.
In light of that, Francis Ngannou was recently posed with the question if White would ever credit him for his success. To which he quoted the rival’s infamous “not giving a sh*t” line on him. Here’s how fans have reacted to that –
A prime reaction on X quipped – “Francis couldn’t wait to answer that question.”
Most fans have found this funny; others have jibed that at this point maximum of his career run is revolving around scuffling with White. Additionally, a few others have sneered at Ngannou that he’d be nowhere without White or the UFC. Overall, the situation has created quite the apt proportion of buzz amongst fight fans.
