Francis Ngannou gets into a twitter battle against Jon Jones over Israel Adesanya. ‘Some people talk’- Francis Ngannou fires off at Jon Jones following his criticism against Israel Adesanya’s performance
The fight wasn’t that full of action as Cannonier failed to make Izzy uncomfortable with his performance. On the other hand, Adesanya being the champion never found the need to take more chances as he was winning the rounds pretty easily. At the end, Izzy was announced the winner via unanimous decision but many fans were not satisfied with the fight. Fight fans criticized Izzy for being too cautious and failing to finish over Cannonier.
Similarly, former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones made a tweet roasting Adesanya’s performance. He made fun of Izzy’s nail art and mentioned Alex Pereira to be a threat to the ‘ Last Stylebender’. He wrote :
” Bro I can’t stop thinking about this shit. How are you going to threaten a guy like Alex with glossy fingernails and a frozen reference. I’m over here scratching my head. ??.”

Francis Ngannou fires back at Jon Jones on Twitter
After Jones made that comment about Izzy’s performance, the UFC world heavyweight champion, Francis Ngannou didn’t hold back to give a response.
Ngannou took the Twitter to explain that Jones is doing nothing but sitting in his house and talking trash about others. Ngannou mentioned that since Jones’ hiatus, Izzy has successfully defended his middleweight title five times which is a massive feat. In the end, Ngannou congratulated Izzy for his latest title defence. He wrote :
“Since Jones been siting back and talking sh*t Izzy have defended his title a least 5 times. Well done CHAMP ? @stylebender Some people talk and some act. ????? 3kings.”
Ngannou and Jones clearly don’t share a good relationship in the UFC. Earlier, Jones was expected to fight Ngannou in his heavyweight debut. But now with Ngannou’s injury, Jones shifted his focus on Stipe Miocic but the rivalry with Ngannou is still there. It will be extremely exciting to see Jones and Ngannou fighting each other inside the octagon in future for the heavyweight title.
