Francis Ngannou is currently in a good position after he signed with the Professional Fighters League (PFL) but his previous boss isn’t happy. UFC President Dana White had previously passed some snarky comments regarding the new acquisition by PFL of his former champion. Ngannou fires back on Twitter.

Francis Ngannou was the UFC Heavyweight Champion when he left the UFC. After his contract had expired, ‘The Predator’ made some hefty demands for the renewal of his contract. The UFC could not agree to meet some of Ngannou’s demands, which resulted in him turning into a free agent.

Since then, he had some tumultuous times, passing from one promotion deal to another with no success. Everybody had condemned Ngannou for leaving the UFC. But things changed when the PFL signed Francis Ngannou with reportedly a hefty check amount and met all the demands which he so adamantly was searching for.

Although this is good news for Ngannou and he is pretty happy with the way things turned out, UFC President Dana White wasn’t. Dana White’s snarky response to Ngannou’s news attracted the wrath of ‘The Predator ‘ who went on Twitter to fire back and confront in front of everybody about why he left the UFC and why Dana White isn’t happy about him.

“What is your problem with me? I completed my contract, was a free agent, and chose to walk away. You didn’t release me,” Ngannou said. “The reason I fought three times in three years is because you wanted to control my deal and sign a new one. And freeze me out…” “I’m finally getting paid and respected, … Why are you so against me being free and happy?” Fighter pay has been a big issue in the UFC forever now.

White doesn’t see why any promotion would take in Ngannou after his high demands. What they (PFL) are doing makes no sense to me about their business strategy. I’m hearing that they are raising money right now from the Middle East,” he said. I don’t know who in the hell would give them $280 million because I am hearing that they are buying Bellator.

He believes the PFL is simply burning money with nothing to show up for it. He criticized the promotion’s business model. However, Dana also made sure to mention that he holds no ill will for his former fighter.

Dana White reportedly had offered Ngannou a hefty amount to come back and fight against Jon Jones. Their matchup was one of the most anticipated and highly requested fight cards of the UFC. But Ngannou had reportedly denied the fight. Now armed with a new contract and a new set of rules, Ngannou announced that he soon would make his boxing debut.
