While everyone was praising Erin Blanchfield for being the Khabib of the female division after her performance at UFC Vegas 69, William Knight’s performance in the event drew heavy criticism after what he did in the fight. Knight lost Marcin Prachnio in the worst way possible.

William Knight only had 33 strike attempts during the 15 minutes inside the Octagon. When a main card fight disappoints, fans will be the first to show off their displeasure. Knight took to Instagram to post his feelings (now deleted) about the fight, but the damage had already been done. It is one thing to fight harder and lose the bout, but it is very disrespectful to not fight at all and lose, at least that’s what the consensus feeling was.

Prachnio will be highly pleased to have not taken any damage and can probably immediately take another fight if he pleases. Prachnio officially landed 63 leg kicks, the new record for a three-round UFC fight. This incredible record only amplifies the level of Knight’s embarrassing performance at UFC Vegas 69.

Fans are never forgiving towards a fighter who fails to step up to the plate. And William Knight’s performance likewise caught the eye of many angry fans. Check out some of the fan reactions to Knight’s performance.

With the unanimous decision loss, Knight is 3-4 as a UFC fighter and finds himself in danger of getting cut by the UFC. Prachnio, on the other hand, was coming off a loss against Philipe Lins last year. He desperately needed to get back to the winning column, and it was almost as if Knight handed it to him on a platter. In the 15 minutes, Prachnio took advantage of Knight’s inactivity, landing several leg kicks and strikes that took him to an easy victory over his opponent.

If Knight is given another opportunity to fight, he will have to do something much better than what he did at UFC Vegas 69. As for the fans, they will be anticipating a better performance next week at UFC Fight Night card where Nikita Krylov fights Ryan Spann in the main event.
