“Maybe she can come better than she was”- George St-Pierre believes Amanda Nunes has a chance to redeem herself by avenging against Juliana Peña

George St Pierre & anda Nunes vs Julianna Peña
George St-Pierre embodies what a mixed martial artist should be. George began studying Kyokushin karate at the age of seven, and later discovered boxing, wrestling, and Brazilian jiu-jitsu. He quickly gained mastery over all facets of hand-to-hand combat, developing lethal striking and devastating grappling techniques.
In addition to being one of the dynamic fighters in sports history, he has the battle intelligence to adapt his technique to any challenger. GSP was great on the ground and on his feet, and he switched up his attacks to hit his opponents where they were most vulnerable.

George St-Pierre opens up on possible comeback in 2022

St-Pierre discussed if he will fight again in a conversation with Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour from back in March, where in the former welterweight champion and the former middleweight champion stated,“My serious days of fighting are over. Maybe you’ll see me for something different like, I don’t know… it’s always serious because it’s fighting, it’s martial arts. You don’t ‘play’ fighting. But I don’t say never if it would be for a charity or something like this. A novelty fight or something like this.”
Additionally, in an interview with ESPN MMA St-Pierre talked about the eagerly awaited rematch between Amanda Nunes and women’s bantamweight champion Julianna Pena. He stated, “Losing is part of life and when you lose as a champion, you fall from very high,” said GSP. “However, you need to be able to put that behind you and learn from your mistakes and I believe Amanda has a chance to redeem herself and maybe she can come back even better than she was.”
He further talked why some athletes are not the same athlete after suffering a hard defeat, “The reason I believe some athletes never come back the same is because they lose their confidence. In the fight game, confidence is one of the most important things. If you have all the skills in the world, but you don’t have the confidence, it’s a little bit like someone who has a lot of money in his bank account, but no way of accessing it. You need the skills and the confidence.”
