Diana Belbita is a heartthrob of MMA fans. Her popularity transcends MMA due to her beauty. She was on the receiving end of weird emails recently which requested her to perform BDSM. Now, Belbita made anime fans go nuts with a recent tweet on X.

In the tweet, Belbita uploaded a selfie picture in which she wore shorts and a sports bra with the Akatsuki symbol of red clouds imprinted on it. The Akatsuki is the name of the team of antiheroes in the popular anime series, Naruto Shippuden. Nonetheless, this is what she tweeted.

Many UFC fighters are big fans of anime. Another UFC strawweight, Polyana Viana, regularly cosplays on Instagram. Former UFC champion Israel Adesanya is also a big fan of Naruto Shippuden. Adesanya had worn an Akatsuki symbol imprinted shirt in the recent past. Current UFC fighters like Robert Whitaker, Max Holloway, and Jared Cannonier also love anime in addition to retired female UFC fighters, Ronda Rousey and Roxanne Modafferi.

Holloway and his family cosplayed as characters from the popular anime Demon Slayer. Rousey once admitted that she had a crush on the Dragon Ball Z character, ‘Vegeta’. Modafferi is a big fan of the anime My Hero Academia among others.

Polyana Viana delights fans with impressive cosplay of Zenitsu

UFC strawweight Polyana Viana is the best cosplayer in the UFC. The Brazilian once famously asked the UFC to walk out with her cosplay dress. However, the UFC did not allow it. Nonetheless, she regularly cosplays and shares it on her Instagram.

In a recent Instagram video, Viana cosplayed as one of the secondary protagonists of the popular anime series, Demon Slayer. Viana cosplayed ‘Zenitsu Agatsuma’ in the video. She even has a tattoo of the face of the Naruto Shippuden character ‘Pain’. Moreover, she has also a tattoo on her stomach similar to the seal the character ‘Naruto Uzumaki’ has on his stomach.

The popularity of anime among fighters is due to the impressive storyline it has. However, there are fighters like Sean Strickland who criticized fighters who are fans of anime. Strickland was a vocal critique of Adesanya at the UFC 276 press conference. Adesanya has even recreated anime moments inside the octagon. He recreated moments from Naruto Shippuden and Death Note in his fights inside the octagon. His best recreation was the iconic faceoff between ‘Rock Lee’ and ‘Gaara’ in his fight with Anderson Silva.
