Demetrious Johnson and Henry Cejudo
Henry Cejudo and Demetrious Johnson possess quite a long history. The two squared off against each other initially at UFC 197 back in 2016, and Demetrious Johnson won via TKO in the very first round. He handed Henry his first-ever loss. In their second clash, Henry came out victorious sweeping a split decision. This further led to Demetrious being traded to One FC for Ben Askren. Despite the long history between these two, handing each other adversity, the respect between them has not halted.
The future of these two seems exciting, Henry has joined back the USADA pool envisaging a comeback in the octagon after retiring and Demetrious is having a good run at ONE FC. One never knows that these two might square up against each other in the future for a trilogy and settle the score. For now, their rivalry seems to be squashed, and are now turned into friends.

Cejudo shocked the MMA community with a post made by him on Instagram in which Demetrious came through to Cejudo’s house for a get-together. In the post, Johnson brought up their first fight, in which he described his acumen to use his knees while capitalizing on clinches when the distance is closed off.
In the video, Johnson can be heard saying, “And so the first time we fight it was like, you’re very comfortable in the clinch. Very comfortable and like to clinch the wrestling clinch. I was like, ‘Okay, perfect.’ But then once we got up and started throwing knees in my Muay Thai clinch and I hit you and I realized you got hurt.”
Henry further replied that he made a scream and tried to make a face to prevent any signs of him being hurt “Ohhh… Did you hear me, scream dude?”
