“Watch out for this,” Henry Cejudo spills the recipe for defeating TJ Dillashaw to Aljamain Sterling ahead of UFC 280

Henry Cejudo- TJ Dillashaw- Aljamain Sterling

Though Henry Cejudo and Aljamain Sterling might get into a title fight sooner or later, sharing knowledge of the common enemy knows no boundaries for the two. Cejudo is the Olympic champion from the 2008 Beijing Olympics in freestyle wrestling as well as the former simultaneous 2-division UFC champion, the last UFC fighter to achieve that status. Cejudo retired back in 2020 when he became the first person to defeat Dominick Cruz via knockout at UFC 249.

Now, Cejudo wants to make his much-anticipated return against current UFC bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling ever since the former has got the itch to get back to fighting again since the end of last year. However, Cejudo’s ultimate goal lies in fighting for a third divisional title in his legacy ie. the featherweight belt against the reigning champion, Alexander Volkanovski. Sterling is preparing for his fight against former bantamweight champion TJ Dillashaw at UFC 280 in October in Abu Dhabi.

The UFC Fight Week for UFC 279 has gone a roller coaster ride for both the fans and the fighters to witness. Regardless, the fight card has been modified into what has been called a much better version ever since one of the fighters on the main card, Khamzat Chimaev missed weight. Regardless, it seems that a lot of big names will make it to the show to come to T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas as they reside in the city and train in the UFC PI.

In one of the videos on his Youtube channel, Cejudo is seen interacting with UFC fighters- heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou, bantamweight champion Sterling, bantamweight Merab Dvalishvili, light heavyweight Ilir Latifi and middleweight Paulo Costa. Somewhere in between both Sterling and Cejudo talk about how Dillashaw could be defeated by Sterling and from his experience defeating Dillashaw, Cejudo had some word of advice for the current 135 lbs champion.
