Henry Cejudo seems to have built comedic chemistry with Paulo Costa, it’s only a matter of time who comes out more cringy in their character. Despite his cringe-oriented way of selling himself, Cejudo is on paper one of the greatest combat sports athletes of all time. A freestyle wrestler who went on to become an Olympic champion in 2008 and also is the last UFC fighter to have held 2 titles simultaneously. Cejudo is coming back to competition soon after more than a 2-year layoff due to retirement.
On the other hand, UFC middleweight Paulo Costa is the former title challenger who has defeated former world champions such as the likes of Yoel Romero, Johnny Hendricks and Luke Rockhold. Costa is coming off a huge unanimous decision win against Rockhold at UFC 278, breaking his 2-fight skid that brought losses against the likes of Israel Adesanya and Marvin Vettori. He has expressed sheer interest in fighting former UFC middleweight champion Robert Whittaker next.
Paulo Costa was generous enough to share the hilariously magnificent “Secret Juice” with Henry Cejudo
In the most recent episode of a podcast show titled “The Triple C & The Schmo” which Cejudo co-hosts alongside sports journalist Dave Schmulenson aka The Schmo, Costa showed up for conversation and talked primarily about the UFC 279 fight week and how his bad blood against Khamzat Chimaev is going on. Some extremely weird moments and Costa was also talking about sharing his infamous “Secret Juice” with Henry Cejudo.
The “Secret Juice” is basically a liquid that Costa uses to mock people who think Costa is on to some “juices” which are otherwise known as PEDs- Performance Enhancing Drugs. So it seemed like Costa shared the juice with Cejudo after the show and quite sarcastically, the double champion seemed to have a major impact on his short stature.
He wrote on Twitter “@BorrachinhaMMA after drinking secret juice I grew a foot. Thank you Paulo and secret Juice”
What do you make of Cejudo adding to the gimmick of Costa’s “Secret Juice” and mocking his height? Do you think Cejudo will become a world champion again on his return?
