UFC featherweight Max Holloway is known as one of the most skilled strikers in the combat world. Currently, Holloway is ranked no.1 in the featherweight division. He previously held the featherweight title and has also successfully defended it three times. Because of all his success, Holloway enjoys a great relationship with his fans on social media. Recently, the UFC featherweight gave his opinion on the Hollywood actor Will Ferrell‘s clip.
The clip showed Will Ferrell acting as a DJ for his son’s frat party. The post was captioned, “Will Ferrell pulled up to his sons frat party out of nowhere and started to DJ.” The comic actor has had an illustrious career in the film industry. His appearances in many Hollywood movies have earned him worldwide fame. However, Ferrell’s had Holloway in knots. The UFC featherweight replied to the clip, “I would lose it lol.“
The ‘Blessed’ has competed in the sport for a long time. His UFC debut came in 2012. Ever since then, he won the featherweight title and went on to defend it for a total of three times. Currently, the only obstacle between Holloway and the world championship is champion Alexander Volkanovski.
The Aussie national defeated Holloway in all three of their bouts. However, Holloway has not let the champion get any rest, as he keeps on adding wins to his resume. To this date, Holloway has delivered some of the best performances in the UFC. His wins against ‘The Korean Zombie’, Calvin Kattar, and Brian Ortega make him stand out in the division.
Daniel Cormier chooses Max Holloway over Aljamain Sterling in a possible featherweight bout
UFC Hall of Famer Daniel Cormier is not in favor of letting Aljamain Sterling fight with Max Holloway at featherweight. Holloway is known as a lethal striker and also holds the record for the most significant strikes thrown in UFC history.
Before going up against Sean O’Malley at UFC 292, Sterling made his plans known about moving to featherweight. However, the former bantamweight champion suffered a difficult loss against O’Malley. In his recent YouTube video, Sterling showed his eagerness to compete at 145 and also chose Holloway as a favored opponent. However, Cormier is against the idea as he feels it will be a bad day for Sterling in the matchup. Cormier said that after losing against someone like O’Malley, a face-off against Holloway could go even worse.
The former bantamweight champion is yet to reveal his further plans after the UFC 292 loss. However, Cormier has already spoken about Sterling’s aspirations to compete against Holloway.
