Paddy Pimblett goes on Youtube to challenge Jared Gordon for a rematch but with a catch
On December 10, 2022, at UFC 282, Paddy Pimblett defeated Jared Gordon in what many fans consider a controversial win. Recently on his Youtube channel, he uploaded a video where he addresses his performance in the fight and he does not seem happy. The reason for his unusual performance in the fight was the ankle injury that he recently underwent surgery for, Paddy reveals.
“People are like, ‘Oh, Jared Gordon did so well.’ He only did well because my ankle was f**ked. You t**t, and he’s just being a bitter little girl, going on every interview site, ‘Oh, I won that fight, I won that fight.’… I want to punch his head in towards the end of the year. I am going to run it back,” Paddy said in the video. He did not like the fact that people were attributing the win to Gordon saying he had the better performance of the night.
Jared believes he won the fight that night, saying so in multiple interviews. He is a well-rounded veteran of the sport who played a smart fight against Paddy maintaining constant pressure on the Liverpudlian fighter. The fight went to the judges who awarded Pimblett the win. Paddy’s retaliations didn’t seem to affect Gordon much which is why fans believe Paddy’s win at UFC 282 was a wrong decision.
Jared Gordon showed a remarkable performance in his fight against Paddy the Baddy. He is set to face Bobby Green in UFC Fight Night 222. Jared gets a rematch with Paddy if he can defeat Bobby Green, Pimblett says.

Jared Gordon responds to Paddy Pimblett’s video on Twitter
Jared Gordon took to Twitter to respond to Paddy Pimblett’s claims. Reveals he too went into the fight with a similar injury. “Funny thing is going into this fight I had an ankle injury as well, documented by UFC. I couldn’t walk for weeks after our fight too. I get why he’s angry. He knows I won. Like the rest of the world,” wrote Gordon in reply.

Paddy Pimblett remains in recovery after his ankle injury while Jared Gordon is set to fight this April. Fans have been torn between the two since the controversial fight in question some say Jared clearly won while some believe Paddy was handed the win by the judges.
This recent progression in the argument may finally settle things once and for all. Fans from both sides are excited about the rematch. If all goes as planned and Jared Gordon defeats Bobby Green at UFC Fight Night, Dana White may put together this highly anticipated rematch. Only time will tell.
