Paul Felder is one of the most exciting names in the UFC commentary booth. Prior to his retirement, he put on many exciting fights in the lightweight and welterweight division. Felder competes in triathlons after his UFC retirement.
During the ESPN post-show after UFC Singapore with Karyn Bryant and Michael Chiesa, Felder clarified speculations of coming back from retirement. Felder said, ” I am back in the USADA testing pool.” He admitted that he may be older but wanted to fight some other veteran fighters for his return. Chiesa chimed in to make a fight between Jim Miller and Paul Felder. Miller holds the record for the most appearances and wins inside the octagon.
Felder last fought Rafael Dos Anjos as a short-notice replacement. He lost the fight by split decision. Felder had a fan-friendly style and had engaged in wars with Dan Hooker and Edson Barboza, to name a few. Felder was in consideration to fight Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 223 for the lightweight title but the call eventually went to Al Iaquinta.
Felder’s possible comeback has set the internet ablaze. Many of them were already planning potential bouts for Felder. Felder is active on social media and has provided hilarious replies to fans’ suggestions.

Paul Felder’s potential comeback has resulted in many fans already planning ahead. One fan on X (formerly Twitter) suggested a matchup between Felder and Shavkat Rakhmonov. The undefeated welterweight has finished all his opponents.
“The Irish Dragon” hilariously replied to the post with a stern “No Thank You.” Felder has plans only for veteran fights. Moreover, his main focus is competing and winning triathlons. With Michael Chiesa already suggesting a matchup with Jim Miller, it remains to be seen what the UFC has in store for him.
Shavkat Rakhmonov is one of the deadliest fighters in the welterweight division. The Kazhaksthani native is presumed to be a future champion welterweight. In his last bout, Rakhmonov submitted Geoff Neal, who missed weight in the third round.
