Vicente Luque and Ian Garry are booked to fight on the main card of UFC 296. They were teammates as they trained together at Kill Cliff FC, Florida. However, they stated that this fight was just business and nothing personal. However, Garry made an abrasive comment on Luque’s recent Instagram post. As such, Luque was baptized recently, and he shared it on Instagram.

Vicente Luque accepted Jesus as his lord and savior. As such, he went through adult baptism and shared an emotional message in the caption of the Instagram post. However, Ian Garry made a mockery out of it. He claimed himself to be Jesus and disrespected Luque’s belief. Here is what he said:

Earlier, when the fight was announced, they remained respectful and even shared a humble conversation on Instagram. But, now, Ian Garry’s comment about Luque’s god was ungracious. ‘Machado’ was known for his loud mouth and trash-talking. However, Luque wasn’t much of a talker; he said he let his fighting do the talking.

‘The Silent Assassin’ is coming off a win against Rafael dos Anjos, while Garry is coming off a win against Neil Magny. The latter carries a 13-fight undefeated record. He would try to keep it intact while Vicente Luque tries to hand Garry his first loss. As for Garry’s comments, Luqure hadn’t responded to it.
