“No woman deserves to be called p*dophile…” Ian Garry vows to settle score with Sean Strickland after vile personal attacks

Ian Garry found himself under the spotlight after numerous controversies spurred around his wife’s book How to be a WAG. As such, many fighters and personalities opined their take on the matter. Sean Strickland didn’t let this one pass. As such, he made some derogatory comments about Ian Garry’s wife, Layla Anna-Lee. Now, ‘The Future’ warned the former middleweight champion ahead of his fight at UFC 298.
During the UFC 298 media day, Ian Garry addressed Sean Stricklands’ vile comments towards his wife. He mentioned instances of Strickland calling Layla Anna-Lee a ‘P*dophile’ and stated he went out of line. As such, he claimed he was emotionally affected by it. Here is what Garry said about it:

Earlier, when Ian Garry and his wife faced heat due to the controversies, Strickland unapologetically trolled the couple. He even made remarks about their relationship and family. Later, the two unexpectedly met at the UFC Performance Institute in Las Vegas and shared an awkward moment staring at each other. Since then, they have teased a potential fight between them.
Ian Garry, although he wanted to fight Sean Strickland, he competed a weight class above. Moreover, ‘The Future’ has his eyes set on the UFC welterweight title for now. Standing in his way was #8 ranked Geoff Neal. As such, Garry takes on Neal this weekend at UFC 298 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.
Ian Garry reveals the reason why he turned off his comments on social media
Ian Garry was an active social media user who shared his journey as a fighter with clips and photos. Hailed as the next Irish Star, ‘The Future’ had a lot of eyes on him. As such, when the controversial book written by his wife, Layla Anna-Lee, came to prominence, he received a lot of hateful comments on his socials. As such, he turned off his comment section. Now, he shared the reason for it.

On Media Day, Ian Garry stated he received a lot of negativity on the comments, so he turned it off to protect his peace. As such, he didn’t want to give time to the negativity online. He even mentioned an instance of people who follow Sean Strickland making demeaning remarks about him and his family.
Ian Garry was to fight Vicente Luque in UFC 296 but pulled out due to illness. As such, he is now rebooked with his former rival, Geoff Neal. With their previous animosity, this fight shared light amongst other entertaining fights in UFC 298. As such, they clash heads this weekend in UFC 298.
