UFC’s head honcho Dana White is arguably the best person to represent UFC even before some of its players. Dana White’s conviction and hard work have turned the company into a multi-Billion dollar organization. While White has faced a ton of adversity during the whole operation, he has managed to get things back on track. N.W.A. rapper Ice Cube is taking inspiration from the UFC President for his new 3 on 3 basketball league.

Rapper Ice Cube recently appeared on the Full Send podcast. He discussed his iconic movie roles, writing scripts, and his association with N.W.A. The troupe also talked about Cube’s Big 3, a 3 on 3 basketball league opposed to the traditional 5-on-5. The league as of today consists of 12 teams with former NBA players and international players on the roster. The N.W.A. rapper promoted his league on the podcast and talked about its unique selling point, compared to the NBA.

According to Cube, covid played a huge part in stunting the growth of the league. “This model wasn’t built for a bubble, it was built to go around the country, so now we getting back to the model,” said Cube. Cube also explained why he is the Dana White of basketball and called himself ‘Dana Black’.

Same thing might happen with the NBA. The playoffs is great, the regular season is boring. They’re dismissing us, so you never know,” said Ice Cube. With Big 3 back to its normal model, it is looking forward to signing more NBA players. With the interesting format, Ice Cube might be able to pull off his dream for his league.
