Alexander Volkanovski and Max Holloway are all set to run it back again for the third time. The two featherweight kings will headline UFC’s international fight week’s PPV card, UFC 276 this weekend at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada. Ahead of this huge pay-per-view event, Alexander and Israel Adesanya sit down for a breakdown video for the middleweight champ’s YouTube channel where they discuss the upcoming blockbuster event.

While talking about the fight between Volkaknovski and Holloway, Adesanya believes that the Hawaiin fighter is prone to taking a lot of damage. “He likes to bang. I like the way he fights. He’s Hawaiin, he’s an islander, and they love a good scrap. I know this for a fact. But this is not something that you want,” said Adesanya on Holloway’s history of getting into wars with his opponents in the octagon.

Max is famous for holding the record for most significant strikes thrown. However, Alexander believes fans also tend to forget that Holloway has been on the receiving end of the most significant strikes too. Alexander believes he has leveled up since the last time he fought Holloway in the octagon and warns the former champ to have a good chin during the fight hinting at huge blows coming his way.

“He’s broken the record for the most absorbed [strikes]. People have got to remember that sh*t. That’s not a record you want,” said Volkanovski about Holloway being prone to take damage in the octagon. “If his chin holds up, good on him. But I am going to land and I am going to land good on him.”

Volkanovski and Holloway had one of the most controversial fights the last time they met inside the octagon. In the trilogy fight at UFC 276, Alexander is looking to put the nail in the coffin with his rivalry against Max.
