Israel Adesanya runs into Al-Nassr attacker Cristiano Ronaldo as he prepares for the upcoming Tyson Fury vs. Francis Ngannou showdown in Riyadh this Saturday. After months of anticipation, two of the top heavyweights in both boxing and MMA, Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou, are scheduled to compete in a boxing bout in Riyadh. This showdown has gathered a lot of attention from fight fans as well as from some of the biggest celebrities in the world.
Israel Adesanya is currently in Riyadh in order to support his African brother Francis Ngannou against Fury. During his visit, the former middleweight champion met Ronaldo, who is currently playing in Saudi Arabia. Both superstars exchanged a few words and showed great respect for each other.
Izzy shared the interaction on his Instagram account and mentioned that, despite not watching football, he definitely knows the legends. He wrote,

Ronaldo and Ngannou are good friends and have met in the past and it seems like the football star is there to support the Cameroonian-French on his debut. At the age of 38, Ronaldo is still scoring goals and making headlines. This year, he has scored the most goals, outscoring some of the biggest youngsters in the game.
Tyson Fury calls Cristiano Ronaldo the greatest footballer of all time
Being the most followed individual on the planet, Cristiano Ronaldo surely gets a grand welcome wherever he goes. The captain of Al Nassr made an appearance in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, just before the Tyson Fury vs. Francis Ngannou fight.
Ahead of the fight, Ronaldo met the heavyweight champion of the world and both were highly respectable towards each other. Ronaldo moved and playfully punched Tyson Fury, who laughed back. The WBC champion pretended that Ronaldo’s lighthearted blow had injured him. These two sports legends had a playful conversation as they sat together.
During the conversation, Fury revealed that he had first seen Ronaldo play in Manchester United’s colors. He told Cristiano that he is the greatest footballer that’s ever lived, and he meant that. Fury, born in Manchester, is a big fan, having watched Ronaldo at United the first time and the second time, as well as all of the Real Madrid games.
